It adopts low-power MPC7410 PowerPC G4 (500MHz) with AltiVec vector processing unit, paired with dedicated 2MB pipelined burst L2 cache. Supports ECC-protected SDRAM up to 2GB via RAM500 memory mezzanine module, dual-bank onboard Flash firmware, dual independent 10/100Mbps Ethernet controllers, 4 serial channels, 1×64-bit PMC expansion slot, dual Harrier ASIC system bridge, multi-level hardware watchdog timer, and 32KB battery-backed NVRAM + RTC clock.
